[net.sport.hoops] The Celts are on FIRE !!

If there is anything more surprising than Denver taking one game from
Dancing Barry's Team, it's the Celtics taking a three game to zero lead
in the Eastern Conference Finals against the second best team in the NBA !!

   Unbelievable !!

Thus far, Boston's defense has been like a blanket. And for the third
time in a row, Philadelphia has not been able to break the one hundred
point barrier. Andrew, Charles, and Moses played quite well, but this time J
and Maurice had sub-par performances.

Thus far, the Celts have simply been on FIRE; a complete team.

But if any team is going to be the first to come back from a 3 - 0
deficit, the Philadelphia Seventy-Sixers have as good a shot as any.
We cannot forget how easily this team dismissed the Bucks in four. This
is essentially the same team that "kicked ass and took names" in the 1983
Playoffs (plus Charles Barkley).

I cannot imagine them being swept.

But I sure could enjoy it !!

   We'll know tomorrow !!

I agree. I think Celtic's 3-0 lead surprised everyone. I thought,
with Bird not in his best physical shape, if anything, the Sixers
would has 3-0 or 2-1 lead after three games.

Boston did play a 'good' defense (not 'exellent'). The problem was with
the Sixers. Nothing would fall for them. In particular, J. Erving is having
a lot of problems in this series. (I believe its time for him to retire -
that probably is also true for B. Jones).

I can't imagine it either. (I saw the fourth game..)

The Sixers came out very strong for the fourth game.
Barkley's 20 rebounds were unbeliebable.
The only Sixers who wasn't so hot was Dr. J. (although he played
fairly well on defense).

My heart is saying Sixers in 7, but i predict Celtics in 5.

		Enjoy.

go Sixers !!!
