Congratulations to the LA. Lakers and their fans !! The CELTS were outplayed in this series in almost every phase of the game ... I expect K.C. and the Front Office to make some key changes during the off season ... flatly, the CELTS were embarrassed. A particular surprise to me was LA's ability to adjust their style of play and not "fold in the clutch" as often as they did last year. Unfortunately, other than game #4, the Celtics were either way ahead or way behind by "crunch time". James Worthy is clearly better this year than last. Kareem is still the greatest player the NBA has ever had (West of Route 128). Magic played better this year than last (but wasn't really tested at "crunch time"). As a team, the Lakers definately did not choke like last year. I actually had expected them to lose games 5 and 6 after losing game 4 in the fashion that they did. Instead, they were cool and calm and executed their game plan with precision. Frankly, I was surprised. In Boston, we recognize when good basketball has been played. The Lakers deserved their fourth banner. The CELTS did not deserve their sixteenth.
