[net.sport.hoops] Offseason questions

Questions during the offseason:

What are the Knicks going to do with Bill Cartwright?? Will he
play power forward?? Can he keep up to McHale or Barkley or
Buck Williams or Roundfield, the Easterns power forwards??
Will he be traded for Chris Mullin??

Is Michael Graham going back to Georgetown, as was reported in
the D.C. papers, did he really grow to 6-11, or has he again been
declared academically ineligible, as was reported in the NY Times?

What are the Lakers doing to their outside shooters?? First they
cut Bob McAdoo, then they waive Jamaal Wilkes. Then the get Maurice
Lucas, a good shooter, but not in the same class as McAdoo or Wilkes.
A.C. Green is impressive inside, but can he shoot outside??

What are the Pacers going to do with all of the frontcourt talent??
They have Herb Williams, Clark Kellog, Steve Stipanovich, Waymon
Tisdale, and Bill Martin, all potentially good starting *forwards*,
but who will play center?? And Quinn Buckner is not the answer at
guard, even if Jerry Schisting (sp?) stays.

Are the Cavs for real? Free, Whatley, West, Hinson, and Hot Rod Williams
makes a great starting five.

Doesn't anybody want Ray Williams?

What happened with the Joe B Carrol situation? Will he play for the
Warriors or will they trade him to the Bucks?

I'm not sure what the Knicks plan on doing with Cartwright, but I believe that
they intend to keep him at power forward. The S.F. Bay Area papers have
reported that Mullin will definitely play for the Warriors this year. God
knows they can use him. They can use ANYONE. A Cartwright homecoming may be in
the works for a few years down the road, who knows.

My all time favorite center to ever play Italian basketball in the 1984 season
will return to the Oakland Alameda County Coliseum Arena to play
for the Warriors. He will NOT be traded to the Bucks for the 85-86 season,
much to his and the Bucks' disappointment, but after that who knows.
Personally, I don't know what they see in the guy. He's basically not a team
player. He maintained a high scoring average by scoring 40 points in games
that the Warriors would lose by 130-98 or something like that.
And I used to dish out $10 to see the man play. Why did they get rid of Bernard?
And World B.? and Gus Williams? and...(Don't answer, those are rhetorical
questions. :-) )
