*** REPLACE THIS LINE WITH YOUR MESSAGE *** Well, Michael Jordan is out for six weeks with a broken bone in his foot. It's a shame, especially since Chicago was off to such a good start. Will the Bulls cease to be competitive without him, or will George Gervin be able to take up the slack until Jordan returns? Without having seen them play yet I would think the Bulls would be much improved after acquiring Gervin, Gene Banks and Kyle Macy, though they still need a good center. Heck, they could even use a second- rate center who can rebound and who has some experience. Does anybody out there know anything about what Bob McAdoo is up to? Pat Riley said at some point that the Lakers would like to keep him, and I was hoping Bob would take a salary cut in order to stay with them. Now that they've picked up Maurice Lucas and A.C. Green has done so well I guess Mac is history in LA (at least with the Lakers -- maybe the Clippers would pick him up since that's the franchise he started with). Any news on his whereabouts would be appreciated.
