The NCAA Upset Tournament is in full swing now and George is feeling the effects
of the drugs. The doctor said he should take it easy after Cleveland St
beat Indiana and U of A-Little Rock trampled Notre Dame. He was feeling fine
until Sunday, Bloody Sunday came along. He had to be rushed to the hospital.
He even thought he would take the net contest going on now with a total of
41 out of 48 points through three days. BUUUTTTTTTT NNNNOOOOOOOOOO,
First, Navy trounces Syracuse in the Dome. Then, Alabama upsets Illinois.
Then, Auburn blows the Redmen off the face of the earth out west and he
passed out. He came to with about 2 minutes left in the NC State-Ark-L.R.
contest and immediately threw up. Luckily Valvano held on and George felt
a little better. Then he heard that Iowa St beat Michigan. Michigan, who
he picked to win it all!!! We sent for the ambulance, but what did they
have on the radio on the way to the hospital? I'm glad you asked. The
Maryland-UNLV game. I'll tell you, George is not very happy right now.
But, lucky for you, he did pick the regional semis and the next round of
the NIT for your edification. First, his stats which include the first two
rounds of the tournament and the first round of the NIT.
