I don't know about Alex English, whoever he is, but without
Larry "big press" Bird, the Celtics are a .600 ball-club at best.
Let's put it this way: if Larry gets the flu during the
playoffs the Celtics are liable to lose to Milwaukee in 4 games.
My (completely unbiased) vote goes to Larry Bird.

Alex is one of the players who outscores Larry Bird night in and night out.
AND he has NEVER been known to choke.

But, if Alex is out the Nuggets don't even get close to the playoffs.
BTW - The Celtics may lose to Milwaukee in 4 games WITH Larry Bird if
he gets his annual sore arm at playoff time.

I maintain that Alex is the more valuable player to his team.

WHOEVER HE IS????? He, my friend, is the NBA's leading scorer, and without
him, the Nuggets wouldn't be a team. However, even I must agree that he is no
match for Bird for MVP.
