> My (biased) vote for MVP is marked, Alex (no ink) English. Without him the > Nuggets become a last place team. I don't know about Alex English, whoever he is, but without Larry "big press" Bird, the Celtics are a .600 ball-club at best. Let's put it this way: if Larry gets the flu during the playoffs the Celtics are liable to lose to Milwaukee in 4 games. My (completely unbiased) vote goes to Larry Bird. Alex is one of the players who outscores Larry Bird night in and night out. AND he has NEVER been known to choke. >> Let's put it this way: if Larry gets the flu during the >> playoffs the Celtics are liable to lose to Milwaukee in 4 games. But, if Alex is out the Nuggets don't even get close to the playoffs. BTW - The Celtics may lose to Milwaukee in 4 games WITH Larry Bird if he gets his annual sore arm at playoff time. >> My (completely unbiased) vote goes to Larry Bird. >> >> Tom Gross >> Apollo Computer, Inc. >> Chelmsford, MA I maintain that Alex is the more valuable player to his team. WHOEVER HE IS????? He, my friend, is the NBA's leading scorer, and without him, the Nuggets wouldn't be a team. However, even I must agree that he is no match for Bird for MVP.
