From SJOBRG%MIT-OZ@MIT-MC.ARPA Mon Jan 9 12:54:51 1984 I would like to hear opinions from anyone who has a set of the latest Computer Modern fonts for NIPs such as the Canon LBP-10 (or LBP-5/480) or the Delphax regarding the quality of the output. How did you get the fonts, i.e., did you generate them yourselves using METAFONT, or get them from someplace else? Did you hand-edit any portion of them afterwards, or wish you had? What sort of problems have you run into in relation to idiosyncracies of the Canon liquid toner and/or the Delphax ion deposition/dry toner? What differences did you find in the use of different grades of paper? I am interested solely in Computer Modern fonts on machines with 240 elements/in resolution. Replies to SJOBRG @ MIT-OZ. Thanks in advance. --Bob Sjoberg
