As far as I can tell, the DEC LN01 is very similar to the Xerox 2700.
The electronics are the same, as you can quickly tell by just looking
inside.  There are some 8086 code changes in the LN01 aimed at adding
some new features but I don't think they affect font file formats and
other limitations of the 2700.
