From: decvax!dcdwest!sdcsvax!sdccsu3!keves (Brian Keves) To throw my 17 cents in (the cost of one page to users at UCSD), I was having big problems with the character spacing on the QMS. I did all the problem fixing on the laser printer before sending it to the typesetter, and nothing I found would make the J character any further from any other character in the line. From: Lee Moore <lee@rochester.arpa> During Usenix in Jan., I talked with a woman at the QMS both about font quality and the difficulty of making good looking fonts for a Xerographic device. Her reaction was something like "oh, you understand! I wish you could talk to my management." Appearently her bosses think fonts are a trival matter. =lee
