I ran one chapter of a report through both scribe and the LaTeX
macros (the conversion was easy, by the way). The demands made
of the formatter were pretty much standard stuff: several
footnotes, frequent font changes, space for two figures. No
index entries. The whole thing, including title page, TofC,
LofF amounted to 14 pages formatted. The machine was a sun,
the printer an imagen. The following are from the 'time' command.
