From: Mark Greinke <m15326@mitre> Can anyone recommend a laser printer for the IBM PC and also a graphics package capable of producing vu-graphs through it? Variable sized fonts and simple line drawing are all that are necessary. Thanks, Mark Greinke (greinke at mitre)

We used the IBM PC to test Cougar, which doesn't have a graphics
package, per se, but does allow full page graphics provided as a video
stream from the host (interspersed with text).
Alas, it is not a laser printer, merely a synchronous ("incremental")
thermal transfer printer, 203spi and 6 ppm, ~7 cents/page.
Diablo's (Fremont) OEM price: $2300.00. Ready to go as a 630 emulator
with the graphics capability described above, as well as downloaded
graphics ability and downloadable fonts (which Diablo is not selling).
