From: chris@maryland (Chris Torek) I'm confused. Our 8/300 already sends the page information back to us when it's finished with each job---or so I believe. We are running V2.0 software, I think; it's the Ethernet code, not the serial line stuff. (As I recall, V2.0 supports only Ethernet, and there's a previous version that supports only serial line I/O.) Chris

From: ihnp4!cbosgd!osu-eddie!bgsuvax!herber@uw-beaver.arpa (Steve Herber) The status information that the printer returns to the host computer is not correct in V2.04 (including page accounting, paper out, etc.). There are other problems with V2.04 and the '@document' line like the copies, pagecollation and pagereversal switches not working properly. I have been told by the customer support folks @ Imagen that V2.1 will fix all these problems and should be out sometime in late January or early February. Steve Herber bgsuvax!herber
