From: T S Lande <bassen@oslo-vax.ARPA> We have a problem programming a Lasergraphix 800 with a RS232 interface. With power-up the initial mode is line-printer where all character are printable (including ^). We haven't found any way to enter QUIC-mode. The QUIC-mode "ON" command (^PY^-) just get printed on the paper. If you have experience with this thing please give me a hint. Since I am not a member of this list yet please respond directly to me. Thanks! Tor Sverre Lande Institute of Informatics University of Oslo bassen@oslo-vax

From: T S Lande <bassen@oslo-vax.ARPA> Thanks for all your help with my Lasergraphix 800 problem. Our TOPS-20 machine transmitted <cr><lf>^PY^- where the <lf> moved the command from column 1 to column 2 and therefore didn't work. An explicit <cr> prior to the command in the text made it work. The correct QUIC "ON"-command should therefore be: <cr>^PY^-. Tor Sverre Lande Institute of Informatics University of Oslo
