From: rna!dan@nyu.arpa (Dan Ts'o) x Would like to know of considered opinions in deciding between the DEC LN03 and the HP Laserprinter (or other printers in the >$5000 range). One area of particular importance to us is the ability to do arbitrary vector graphics. The LN03 apparently can do "sixel" graphics at 150dpi (the HP at 75dpi ?). What is sixel graphics and can it replace vector graphics ? I also understand that the LN03 can have downloadable fonts unlike the HP. In addition, the LN03 paper tray is larger. Anything else ?
