Would I be naive if I thought that: The candidates for public office should not collect any salary from the public treasury while campaigning, and not performing their duties of office? Geraldine Ferraros' husband developed an extraordinary skill in real estate after she got into office. His annual salary in her first year of office was less than her 70k. This last year his was over 225k. The AT&T Technologies reduction of the work force will also include members of upper management?
