From: cornell!vax135!houxm!ho95b!wcs@uw-beaver.arpa The Canon printing engine supposedly has a lifetime of about 100K pages, relatively independent of pages-per-month printed. Thus the HP LaserJet advertises 3000/month, which gives a lifetime of 3 years. The Apple should be about the same.
