From: KA Carter <kac%cl.cam@ucl-cs.arpa> We have read a report in the current issue of Systems International that says that the LaserWriter only uses American quarto size paper. Is this true? Doesn't the LaserWriter use the Canon print engine which takes A4 size paper? Can someone tell us what the true position is as we want to use LaserWriters with A4 paper. From: ihnp4!alberta!myriasb!cmt@uw-beaver.arpa (Chris Thomson) A4 works just fine in any Canon engine printer. The maximum size in an LBP-10 is 11"x17", and the maximum in the new one is about 9" wide by some number greater than 14" long. It will also handle a business card, but not particularly well. Strange-sized paper (other than 8.5x11 or A4) must be hand-fed.
