From: Mark Weiser <mark@tove> Is there software out there to support troff output on laserjets? I have seen a couple of company offerings, but wonder if there is anything cheaper. -mark ------------------ Spoken: Mark Weiser ARPA: mark@maryland Phone: +1-301-454-7817 CSNet: mark@umcp-cs UUCP: {seismo,allegra}!umcp-cs!mark USPS: Computer Science Dept., University of Maryland, College Park, MD 20742

From: cornell!vax135!allegra!bellcore!decvax!decwrl!qubix!saber!turner@uw-beaver.arpa (Jim Turner) I have written a nroff driver for the hp-laserjet which handles underlining and bold, also I have incorporated other code to reverse the order that the pages are produced. I will gladly make it available in return for a troff driver.

Has ELAN cleaned up their act and started using graphics to fill in missing fonts/characters yet? The last samples I saw used only the ROM fonts, which makes their stuff a real loser compared to Tplus. The ROM fonts are OK for body text but aren't enough for equations.
