From: RSanders@DENVER.arpa The fan screen on the lower box (processor, memory, etc.) can become sufficiently clogged with dust to cause overheating and malfunction of the processor. Symptoms in our case were strange horizontal stripes in the output, and very warm air coming out of the vents. I have plastered a sticker on the cartridge door of the CX imploring the cartridge changer to clean the screen at the same time. This is posted to warn others of similar problems - that screen is easily ignored. -- Rex
