From: David Fuchs <DRF@SU-SCORE.arpa> The final resolution on our problems with the Imagen 8/300 that trashed its disks every so often turned out to be a hardware problem. The machine stopped booting from ANY disk, so we took it in for service. After the disk controller board was swapped, we were back in operation. Of course, we don't know for a fact that this hard failure means that the soft failures were caused by a dying controller; time will tell. -david -------
