From: tektronix!decvax!trwrb!simpson@uw-beaver.arpa I recently rewrote qcat(8) (a troff driver for QMS laser printers) and I am willing to mail copies via uucp to anybody who wants one (we are not on the ARPAnet). My program, qmstroff(8), does essentially the same thing as qcat but it is little bit smarter about downloading fonts, is compatible with my TeX driver, qmstex(8), available from the University of Washington, and is understandable (Sorry Ed, I thought the old code was garbage). I have tested it under 4.1 and 4.2 on VAXen but I don't anticipate any problems porting it to a new machine such as a Pyramid. It doesn't print in landscape mode but that is only because we do not have the the fonts. If you do have the landscape fonts feel free to hack it up to use them. NOTE: If you don't already have qcat(8) this program will be useless since it uses the same fonts. If you want to use this program you will have to buy the qcat software and fonts.
