From: munnari!mso.anu.oz!keogh@seismo (Patrick Keogh) More cheers for the Apple LaserWriter. We have written WORD-11 support (for VAX/VMS), and a Calcomp compatible library. Does anyone have cheap (eg. free) TEX support for the LaserWriter? [[Editor's note---TeX support has been contributed and I'll make it available whenever our Unix machine comes back up and I can package it. Watch this space for an announcement. ---Rick]]

I've got a brochure sitting next to me from Sun advertising "The Sun LaserWriter". It looks just like an Apple laser writer 'with the word "Apple" scratched out and the word "Sun" written in in crayon.' (Paraphrased from Monty Python) From the Brochure: Software: Printcap output filters and translators for troff C/A/T files, ditroff intermediate output, plot(5) files, Diablo print files. Other than that, it looks just like a LaserWriter.
