[fa.laser-lovers] Interpress

While it is true that the Interpress standards document describes
exactly what form a font vector takes, it nowhere suggests that
one can build a font vector within a master. (Or at least I was
unable to find anything that indicated whether this was supposed
to work.) The context in which the description occurs is that of
making small adjustments to existing fonts, which is perhaps
misleading.

In any case, I exchanged mail with a Xerox support group about
this. They did say that building font vectors would work, but
strongly suggested that I avoid doing so. Can we take it that your
message implies that Xerox intends to support font-building? :-)

I'm sorry about the 2700 mixup: I don't know what to call our Xerox
printers (they call themselves "Ravens"), but they run Interpress
and use the same marking engine as the 2700.
