That's a common scenario. It's funny how sure people are of what's
going to happen in what way. I could think of a few more that fit
well with any general discription in the Bible. The descriptions
are all general and seem to convey the necessity of expectation and
readiness rather than any specific details as to how, or when, the End
will come. The "pre-tribulation rapture" scenario is the most comfortable
for Christians to believe. It's not necessarily the way it *is* going to
be.

The true light that enlightens every one was coming

I think that God left the details concerning the end times obscure so that
Christians would be forced to face all the possibilities with willingness
and obedience to His will. The "pre-tribulation" rapture stand seems to fit
in well with the also popular "prosperity" doctrine which states that all
Christians should be healthy and financially prosperous. Christians need to
look into the Bible which they verbally claim to be truth and realize that
God's will for their lives is not always comfortable, instead of living by
their wants and wishes all the time.

You ever hear that "The good die young"? Sounds to me like
the very good people get "raptured" out of here every day!

No, unfortunately they'll have to take a shuttlecraft.

Please, I'm sorry, I couldn't resist....
