From: sasaki@harvard.harvard.edu (Marty Sasaki) I don't remember where I got the dvi-to-ln03 file and can't find the mail message where Rick told me where to get it. Any help Rick? In any case the stuff can be had via anonymous FTP on HARVARD. Please access during off peak hours only. The main file is a shell archive, ~ftp/vms/dvi2ln03.sh. I have unpacked the archive into the directory ~ftp/vms/dvi2ln03. The program runs on VMS and is written in PL/1 and WEB. I haven't tried the package yet, since we don't have a PL/1 compiler. Conversion to run on UNIX should be simple (if you have a PL/1 compiler for UNIX). Which brings up a question, Does anyone have a PL/1 to anything else (Pascal? C? Bliss?) translator? Marty Sasaki [[Editor's note: The program came from the Stanford VMS TeX distribution, courtesy of David Fuchs at Stanford. I don't know who contributed it to the VMS distribution originally. If you do convert the program to Unix, *please* let me know as soon as possible. We do not have a LN03 TeX driver in the Unix TeX distribution and I'd like to have one. My address is Furuta@Washington. It'd be best if the PL/I stuff got recoded into C or Pascal. --Rick ]]

From: David Fuchs <DRF@su-score.arpa> The DVI->LN03 driver we have for VMS was contributed by Flavio Rose of DEC. It's available for public FTP from SU-SCORE::<TEX.LN03>, as well as on our VMS distribution tape. -david p.s. Flavio recently sent an updated version that will soon be put on said directory and tape. -------
