First off, please respond to this message via e-mail. Responses to this are probably not appropriate as new articles, but I'm not sure where else I would post this and get the appropriate readership. My situation: We would like to find a company who would be able to do portions of our Informix SQL or 4GL development for us. We would prefer a company in this area (Chattanooga, TN), but we realize we are not near any great Unix hotbeds and that this may not be possible. The work would consist of a mixture of programming entire projects (designed by us) and writing programs (particularly report programs) to interface with existing systems. I have no firm estimate of the amount of work there would be, but there is a good possibility of a long term relationship. Consultation, advice, and training in the use of Informix 4GL and SQL might also be needed. Please let me know if you feel that you could help us.
