The Joy of Sharing
Beneath the surface black and unadorned
lie many bulbs.
They need the rain of sympathy
and warmth of love
to come to flower.
Gardener, do not dig those bulbs!
and force them into bloom.
The natural flower they produce
is far the sweeter.
