[net.kids] Misinterpretating Rich Rosen

toml@oliveb.UUCP (Dave Long) (08/27/84)

[Does anyone actually read articles that side with Rich?]

Since when has Rich Rosen been advocating Hands-Off upbringing? He has
been *for* active upbringing.
Several of you people (I forgot names), actually *are* on Rich Rosen's
side, judging from your examples of how you raise your kids. Why do you
claim to be against him?
I agree that he has made a few mistakes in wording, but other than that,
he seems to have had a few good ideas.
Since when has actually raising a child had anything to do with letting
the child develop a personality? Remember -- I have to go to school with the
"products" of some over-zealous parents (and teachers!).
@@ I probably made some wording mistakes, feel free to ask questions @@
