To whom it may concern in reference to Rich Rosen, I had the misfortune of somewhat mis- interpreting Rich and his views on child rearing. I have found that it is very easy to not totaly comprehend the meaning behind each writers comments. For example "Strong Parents" written by myself, has provoked a multitude of respones regarding the usage of the word strong and how it was being applied. Yet, only one reader seemed to focus on the article as a whole and derived a suitable meaning for strong, that was Rich Rosen. I think that often we as readers , can become insulted and in turn react to a writers views defensively. Hence, instead of accepting the others opinion as an opinion, net wars start and subscribers get black-balled and the language of some writers dwells down in the dirty depths of street puddles. I agree with Rich Rosen's philosophy on child rearing. This not to say that our ideas are exactly the same, they are not, his ideas are valid though. They are not much more different then those of my own and I can say this only after having had read his articles and responses to my own, no insult, just discussion. Suzanne
