I have been enjoying this discussion, but I wish you folks would not use "discipline" as a transitive verb. What you are trying to do is "control" your children without punishing them. Discipline is internal - if your child acquires it, it will be from your example. And remember that your child will use his discipline to get what he wants, not what you want. End of lecture. -- Col.
