Perri the Patient is a new toy for children. He is a teddy bear that has been in the hospital with a broken heart. He has a zipper on his chest, which can be opened to check on his heart. Perri comes in a box that is his hospital bed. He has a hospital armband, an oxygen tube, and an IV connected to his arm with velcro. Perri comes with a hospital gown, a blanket so his paws don't get cold, doctor's orders, and an x-ray. Perri is handmade in Kentucky, and each bear is individually numbered. The entire toy is safe for children three years and up. He is a wonderful teaching toy for all children, but he's great therapy for adults too! Perri needs tender loving care to mend his broken heart. He is available for $39.95. For more information, contact: B and B Bears 1019 Cherokee Road Louisville KY, 40204 or call (502) 459-9969

I am very unhappy to see a crass advertisement for Perri The Patient on usenet. And especially unhappy that the wording was cutesy-poo instead of declaratory. Furthermore, I think it is an idiotic toy at a ridiculous price. Kindly restrict such ads to NA.FORSALE in future. Or to the Sunday supplements of newspapers passed out to jurors in Stupid People's Court. Thank you. -- Oded Feingold UUCP: mitvax!oaf MIT AI Lab Arpa: oaf%oz@mit-mc.ARPA 545 Tech Sq.
