My son also doesn't like his bed, although I rather not listen to the crying all night. So, I let him lay in my bed until he falls asleep, then I carry him into his bed where he resides for the rest of the night. A child's mind can think of some "scary" things and does need your comfort. I have gotten many opinions from friends and family to not allow him to sleep in my bed. Although I really see no harm in it, eventually he will be sleeping in his own bed as we all learn to do !! Why make life difficult, when it could be so easy ....
