Someone recently posted an article stating that they had never found a cool-mist humidifier that lasted more than one season...mine is a hand-down from someone who used it a lot more than I have. It was made by Northern, is a one-gallon capacity, and has gone strong for six seasons. (I just used it two weeks ago for a summer cold...)
