I have noticed in all the discussions of disposables versus cloth
diapers, that the only negative thing the pro-cloth side mentions is
wetness. Well diapers catch and absorb two different substances.
After using cloth for a long time with our daughter, we finally
abandoned them for disposables. Our newborn son uses strictly
disposables. Dirty cloth diapers are a royal pain to handle. Long live
disposables! Old cloth diapers do make good burping cloths though.

We started out with our first one in cloth (15 years ago). I am still using them to wash the car, as grease rags, and in various other household chores. The cloth diapers did become a pain after awhile, and the next two got the disposable treatment. T. C. Wheeler
