[net.kids] Disposables vs. Cloth Diapers

I have noticed in all the discussions of disposables versus cloth
diapers, that the only negative thing the pro-cloth side mentions is
wetness. Well diapers catch and absorb two different substances.

After using cloth for a long time with our daughter, we finally
abandoned them for disposables. Our newborn son uses strictly
disposables. Dirty cloth diapers are a royal pain to handle. Long live
disposables! Old cloth diapers do make good burping cloths though.

You know, the amazing thing is that NEW clothe diapers make good burping
clothes.

We started out with our first one in cloth (15 years ago).
I am still using them to wash the car, as grease rags, and
in various other household chores. The cloth diapers did
become a pain after awhile, and the next two got the
disposable treatment.
