The problem is that garbage dumps are not equipped to deal with human waste in the volumes they are now receiving it. This is a health problem. Diaper services ARE equipped to deal with human waste, either locally or by pumping it through the sewage system.

Good point about disposables in the garbage dumps. I must admit I never thought about that before, but now that the issue is raised, and the problems with garbage dumps are ever in the news, I'm seeing another point for cloth diapers. Yes, I just posted another article saying we used them, but that was before this article jogged my mind and was many years ago. T. C. Wheeler
