Thanks to all who gave me advice on releiving my daughter's hunger
strike. Some of the suggestions were:

o mix breast milk with formula gradually increasing formula
       amount
o use goat's milk (suppose to be closest to breast milk)
o have my wife leave the area while I try to feed her with
       a bottle.
o have my wife express breast milk each day for the next
day's feeding ( and forget formula).

As it turns out, about a couple of days after posting the message,
my daughter started to drink the formula from the bottle with
minor complaints. Since my wife's milk supply is dwindling and
she finds it too inconvenient to express the milk during the day
(it takes too long to express enough for the next day) we decided
to keep her on formula during the day and breast feed her only at
the first feeding and the last of each day.

Your support and help are appreciated by the three of us!!

                                Thanks-A-Million,
