Get a copy of the cookbook "Feed Me I'm Yours." I don't remember the
author's name right now, but any decent bookstore should have it or be
able to order it. (It will probably be in with the books about
children instead of with cookbooks, but that's okay. It's worth
looking for.)

It contains lists of finger-foods appropriate for various ages (and
cautions about what *not* to feed kids of certain ages), how-to
hints for making home-made baby food (easier than it sounds!), ideas
for holiday and party foods, basic recipes for all kinds of foods
likely to please even the pickiest children. It also contains two or
three recipes for edible playdough, a couple recipes for "permanent"
playdough (the kind you can dry or bake and paint), recipes for paste
and finger-paints, and the like.
