I had the usual stuff, toy trucks, trains, etc. I had toy guns too. Now I have real guns. For some folks, that'd never do I guess. I sure do have a lot of enjoyment out of blowing away targets and "shootin' my friends". Naw, not literally, the looser has to buy the beer is the idea. My folks always griped at me when I'd tear things apart to see what made them "framdazzle". My solution to that was to do it when they were too busy to keep an eye on me. For instance, one of the lawn mowers quit once. Dad said he would fix it later. I saw my chance and tore it all apart. By the time he got around to fixing it, I was already mowing the yard with it. I got to the point where I could diagnos and fix those little "one lung Briggs" and "Clinton" engines pretty quickly. By the time I was in high school, I'd torn apart and fixed several old tv sets and a few radio/stereo rigs. I developed a knack for yanking car radios out of dashboards and putting 'em back in. For the most part now, I stick with fixing electronics stuff, but I have no quams about taking anything apart and takin' a stab at fix- ing it if its "busted". The secret to getting anything apart or putting it back together is learning how to hold your mouth just right(8-). They tell me its rough being born, but then I was too young to remember.
