months? 18 months? Where do I find the SMALL CHILD ON BOARD sticker?

/* End of text from ccvaxa:net.kids */

Don't laugh; I've already seen cars driving around here with CHILD ON BOARD
stickers.

I've always thought of this type of sign as a reminder to other motorists to be carefull. I hadn't thought of the emergency worker's
notice but it seems reasonable. I hope that if there is a car seat
that such a person would check for a baby.
Recently I saw a bumper sticker that said,
                    "I love my baby
                     Drive Carefully"

this is what I'd like for my car.

This discussion has made the rounds on net.kids at least two times. Both
times the discussion has been severly one sided, i.e. nobody is defending
the use of the signs.

Come on now! There has to be at least one brave YUPPIE oot there who will
speak out in defense of the signs! :-)

I think I will get one for my mother too.

I'll speak out in favor of the "baby on board" signs.
In a class once I read about an experiment done at a city bus system.
They computed the drivers` biorythms, then warned them on their low
days. In other words, they chose some days at random and told the
drivers that on these days they were more likely to be accident-prone.
The number of accidents dropped. Anlogous to the placebo effect, I guess.
I suspect the "baby on board" signs would have a similar effect.
