[net.kids] Shoes, references

slb@drutx.UUCP (Sue Brezden) (01/22/86)

On references about shoes and toddlers: Dr. Spock's baby book
has a couple of pages. At least mine does. It is not the new
edition, but I got it about 15 years ago.

He says children should always go barefoot in the house and
that there is danger of flat feet if the child always wears
shoes. He doesn't even care for socks--says that the feet should
be a bit cool, like the hands. (This was back when houses were
kept a lot warmer--before energy shortages.)

Any others?
