>Since Barbara is a childbirth instructor she is in the best position > to alter the sexist attitudes of fathers unconcerning diapers & other > "mothers duties" since she is talking to alot of first time fathers. It seems everyone is concerned about sexism here and I have apologized for that remark, but I still feel the same way, however if all of the people in the net share duties fine. Please do not misunderstand my statement. It is an OPINION (not just mine but others) that the women usually handles the babies, whether it be diapers and other things. I'm am truly glad the the world is changing and the men are taking equal responsibility. >Saying diapers are mothers duty is making things worse not better. As a childbirth instructor, my concerns are nutrition for the pregnant woman, natural childbirth, participation of the husband as coach, avoidance of drugs, relaxation and breathing, focusing in and working with your body, and breastfeeding. This is what I teach. Not once has a question come up about diapers (diposables or otherwise). What I offered was my opinion in answer to a question (Diapers or Disposables: Which are Better?) Let's not take this sexism thing too far o.k. We have all made remarks that have been taken out of context before. We all are human. Barbara Charles
