I wasn't really expecting responses -- at most, wondered
whether anyone else thought of "c-shell" as a pun on "seashell" -- but
qantel!hplabs!tektronix!larryk offered

	Kernel keyword kills kmem,

and {ihnp4,ucbvax!amd,hpda,sri-unix,harpo}!fortune!stanton
(W. Dean Stanton) sent

Kernighan clones Korn shells in clandestine cellars,
or
Korn clones worn shells in Bell cellars.

Would've posted this summary sooner, except that I put one of
these responses in my directory "Temp" and one in "misc", and I knew
I'd gotten two, but I never could find them both at once.
