[net.astro] Stardate posting problems fixed

charles@utastro.UUCP (Charles Sandel) (09/24/84)

The problems with Stardate articles being posted more than once,
and also not being posted correctly on weekends has been fixed as of
September 22, 1984. If you are still receiving multiple copies
of articles (these were always articles posted on Fridays), please
let me know. Also, there were some problems some people reported earlier
about receiving "net.astro", but NOT receiving the "Stardate" articles.
If there is anybody out there who is *properly* receiving "net.astro"
but *not* receiving the Stardate postings, please let me know.

Also, due to popular request, we are working on a
list of radio stations who subscribe to Stardate!
We hope to post this list to the net soon. We cannot, however, post
the air times, as that is a decision made entirely by the stations,
and in most cases we simply don't know when it is on. You can
call your station for that info. While you're at it, you might
mention to your local radio station how much you enjoy listening to
Stardate, and that you hope they continue to air it.

If you live in an area which has no station which airs Stardate,
you might suggest to a station (or stations) that they contact us
about carrying Stardate. Please address all such inquiries to:

        Austin, Tx 78712

        (512) 471-5285

*PLEASE* DO NOT mail these requests to me at my net address!
