I was wondering if any of you net.astro.camera buffs could give me a few pointers on taking pix of the heavens? What I've got is olympus OM-10fc system with a 210mm zoom, tripod, wire trigger release,etc...Questions I have are, a). What's a good mm size to use, would a 2x converter help to get 410 mm.? b). how long is a half decent exposure and at what f-stop? I'd like to do planet photography but that might be alittle unrealistic if its too much money(obviously pretty high power lenses must be used), and if any of you have done it, could you send me the particulars on what kind of setup you use?
