I'm new to this group and there is one thing I don't understand (I know ...
... only one:-).

In the second line usually there is always something like " More -- in a minute"
or "More -- later"

What does that mean? Thanks in advance.

Well your honor, this is the way it really was....

The Stardate articles are really scripts for a daily radio program. The
first one or two lines are the teaser to get you to hang around for the
rest after a commercial break.

These are radio scripts, posted on the same day they are aired (which is
why you sometimes read them two or three days late). The pauses are
for the station to throw in thier announcements.

If you want to hear them on the same day, inquire about StarDate at
your local station. If they don't carry it, ask them why not!
