[net.astro] Voyage Uranus pix: 4 moons show

doug@escher.UUCP (Douglas J Freyburger) (10/15/85)

I walked through the corridor with the Uranus
pictue again, and it was the same picture as last week.
There were some interesting facts, though. It is dated
9/9/85, and there are four stars visible in the sky, but
they are satelites, not stars. Four of the five known
satelites were visible a month ago. One of them looks like
it takes up two pixels. I think that is a printing
artifact, but I'm not sure.

I haven't heard that any features have been seen on
the planet itself yet. I've asked around, but I don't know
anyone on Voyager any more, so word has to filter down
slowly in the cafeteria, etc.
