Does anyone have accurate values for the length of a Martian Solar Day and the length of the Martian Sidereal Year? My Handbook of Chemistry and Physics says 88775.3 and 59,355,300 seconds, respectively. It seems that we should have better values for both of these after the Viking probes and all. Is there any concept of a Martian Tropical year? david rickel
