I've just come from the first meeting of a new Bell Labs club for TI-99 computer users/owners. The meeting was very busy and full of good info on hardware and software. The question came up of communicating to users at other sites and permanently recording info for those who can't attend every meeting. The proposed solution was to set up a news net for TI-99 users which received a unanimous yes vote from all in attendance. Can we have some more votes from the net? Those in favor so far are: Marge Stadler BTL - MO Bob Giovine BTL - WH Pat Highland BTL - WH Jan Sussman BTL - WH Ronnie Schoenhaar BTL - WH Kim DiGaetano BTL - WH Stan Rogacki BTL - MO Gerrie Hendricks BTL - WH Dick Kovacs BTL - WH Joe McGhee BTL - WH Ed Bresnowitz BTL - WH Ahda Sipos BTL - WH Khoi T. I don't think you should create net.micro.ti99. Try using net.micro (since it already exists) before creating your own group. If the traffic becomes heavy then consider creating your own group. I don't have anything against a TI-99 group IF there is enough traffic to warrant it. -- Art Z. FileNet Corp.
