I have just ordered an Apple //e system (128K, 2-drives, ImageWriter printer, Micromodem //e [300 baud], and the Apple Mouse [when available]). I am going to use the system for developing a graphics application package that I am doing for my Masters Thesis. I need some information about software. I would appreciate any recommendations. + I want a word processor; I also would like a "screen editor", which I could edit raw files that could be transferred back and forth between my system and UNIX(tm). + Programming languages; I am interested in using Forth or UCSD Pascal.
