I personally was just as disappointed in the panel discussion as I was in the movie. In the interview with George Schultz, Ted Koppel never once got an answer to a question he asked, just a lot of poor rhetoric about how no one wants a nuclear war (Golly,Gosh,Gee-whiz). In the following panel discussion, almost the same thing happened. On top of that Koppel didn't want anyone to get too 'technical'. We didn't get to hear any hard 'facts', we never got to hear more than two of a list of fifteen steps to a more stable situation (In one person's view), Everyone was saying what they were hoping for and no one said HOW!!!
